Practices: Botley, Chandlers Ford, Shirley
Liz has worked in veterinary practices since she left school. She trained as a veterinary nurse, qualifying in 1993, and eventually became a head nurse. In 2001 Liz took a break from veterinary nursing to complete a zoology degree but found herself drawn back to nursing when she saw a job advertised at a cat only clinic. As a self confessed crazy cat lady this was her dream job!
The business was a new start up and gave Liz the opportunity to learn about the business and management side of the role. Her bosses supported her decision to step away from veterinary nursing and pursue a practice management career. Having completed some training, Liz achieved her certificate in veterinary practice management in 2010 and has since gone on to manage several veterinary practices.
She lives locally with Mokey, her incredibly spoilt oriental cat.
