Important information from Pet Doctors Burwell
Over the last few months we have tried to continue to provide the best service possible from Burwell.
However, due to the increasing demand for veterinary services and challenges with staffing levels it has been difficult to meet our high standards of service and clinical care on a regular basis.
It is due to these factors and after careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close Pet Doctors Burwell as from Friday 1st December 2023 at 7.00pm until further notice.
What this means for you
We appreciate that many of you will be disappointed after many years of service at Burwell. Your account and your pet’s clinical history is held within the secure Pet Doctors Cambridge database – accessible by the team at our main site in Soham and our branch in Ely. This enables us to continue to give care to your pet, without interruptions or delay.
Soham is open Monday to Friday and Saturday morning giving more appointment availability with our experienced team of vets and nurses. The site has ample parking, more facilities and a greater range of services. Our Burwell team will also be working from Soham.

If you would prefer to attend our Ely practice, please let the Soham team know and they will update your records accordingly.
Healthy Pet Club
Your membership of The Healthy Pet Club is held within our secure database and your account details will be accessible by our team in Soham. You can continue to enjoy your usual discounts and savings.
Please note: there will be a change in your Healthy Pet Club reference number, which will be referenced differently on your bank statement for the monthly direct debit. If you have any concerns regarding your membership, please contact hpc@cvsvets.com .

Please call to book an appointment before attending the practice. This includes for the collection of flea and worming treatment, other medication and food.
We are very sorry that we are unable to continue to offer you veterinary services In Burwell but hope that you will continue to use our services in Soham. You will already know many of the team and they all look forward to welcoming you and caring for your pets.
If, however, you are unable to attend Soham or Ely and need to register with another practice, then please contact us to request a transfer of your pet’s patient history after you have registered with them.
